Theater
Previews at Duke is the professional producing arm
of Duke
University's Department of Theater Studies. Theater
Previews is a laboratory for the professional development
and production of new plays and musicals for the American
theater on Duke's campus that provides students the
opportunity to learn by working alongside some of the
country’s top theatre artists. Each project is
a co-production, which insures that the new work created
at Duke goes on to have a life elsewhere. Recent productions
include KUDZU, ELEANOR: AN AMERICAN LOVE
STORY, BIRDY, A THOUSAND CLOWNS starring
Tom Selleck, and PAPER DOLL
starring Marlo Thomas and F. Murray Abraham. Zannie
